5 Manageable Tips To Be Productivity

I’m not good at this productivity sort of thing I usually let life happen. So, realizing I need to be a little proactive about my life I started searching. I mentioned this topic in December with the blog posts Goals and Making Goals stick.  Also last week Productivity isn’t a fluke. So, realizing I need to be a little proactive about my life I started searching.

Be Proactive

Be proactive about how your day will go or as Matt McWilliams (the affiliate Guy) says be intentional. If you are not used to being productive like me. Write it down a list. Writing it down might be an alternative to hoping for the best. It might also help you to choose when and how long you will spend on a subject. Be Intentional

Limited Hours

There are only so many hours in a day. if you want more time with the ones you love and less stress a time line will be useful. take the time to give each task a time limit. This means you will know if you will be on time for picking up your kids from school. This also means if you know you have done all the projects for the day you can freely give of your time when your kids come home. Writing it down might be an alternative to hoping for the best. It might also help you to choose when and how long you will spend on a subject.

Don’t Get Derailed

Don’t allow yourself to get derailed or side tracked. More than likely it can wait. Unless your kid has a broken leg it probably not as much of an emergency as you may feel it is. This is one of my biggest side trackers. I have kids they are always vying for my time and I feel guilty. I allow them to side track me because I didn’t do the previous step.

Stick To The Task

Don’t be at everyone’s beckon call. For me I tell myself I’m being helpful when I am able to answer a question immediately or answer the phone. Although when I do the “be available” I take time away from the things I need to do. I have realized if I stay in the moment and stick to the task at hand, I will accomplish what has to get done and will be able to get to the other things or other people who want my attention. I will take time a way even if I am working to “be available.”

Schedule Fun

Make sure you schedule fun. I know it does not sound very much like fun if you have to schedule it. However, if you fail to make time for fun you become unproductive. Make sure you schedule fun. I know it does not sound very much like fun if you have to schedule it. However, if you fail to make time for fun you become unproductive. Fun for me is spending time with my family. I Know for me when my husband make time to spend time with me, I feel more loved.  As Pamela Gail Johnson would say from Secret society of happy people would say Mom’s usually skip self-care and so do entrepreneurs especially women entrepreneurs. So, take time for self-care schedule
