Problems Your Fault My Fault

In todays society so many want to blame someone for our problems. Or even wallow in our problems rather then do something about it. There are experts that even call addictions a medical handicap.

The Fault is Not Yours

Its someone’s fault, right? Its my mothers / fathers/ grandfathers/ grandmothers fault. My drinking /swearing/smoking came from… I can’t change. I can’t fix it. Just when is it yours to claim? Nishan wrote When you focus on problems you gain problems. When you focus on possibilities you gain more opportunities.

Forgive and Excuses

Some times it is easier forgive the constant problems created then to hold someone accountable for the loss of a job or transportation the inability to create a birthday or holiday. You don’t want to Face the alternative or even the family falling apart. Often a Person feels Holding them accountable to the problems they create is more painful then putting up with the problems.

Get to the Bottom

In Alcoholics anonymous they say a person can’t start the road to recovery till they hit rock bottom. I say help them hit rock bottom. Quit giving them excuses to continue. Don’t turn a blind eye to the devastation they cause and certainly don’t keep quiet about the problems the have created. Forget to blame yourself and put it where it belongs.
