Reproductive Rights Can Not Be Removed

If you had to face the baby you chose to abort and answer to them why you chose abortion. What would you answer? Would you so easily say well I just did not want you?  Would your answers be good enough? Would your that child understand your reasons? If you knew what the future would hold for you with or without the child would you still choose to abort? If you knew what the child would be capable of would you still choose it’s death? If you knew all it’s infinite possibilities and the lives the child would affect and how would you still choose to kill that child and not become a mother.

Sobering Thought

My daughter and I sat looking at all the reasons women had abortions. I pointed out every one of the reasons I could have had one. No one who believes in abortion would have faulted me for it. I pointed out almost all of them. Honestly, there could have been more. 28 years of hindsight. Was her life easy was mine, no, but I can tell you with certainty I don’t have to answer for murder or wonder if my answer would be good enough. I have been a mother for over half of my life. I would not change that.

This article is not about the very small percentages of women seeking abortions due to rape, baby’s health, or mothers health. According to Abort73 In 2004, the Guttmacher Institute anonymously surveyed 1,209 post-abortive women from nine different abortion clinics across the country. Of the women surveyed, 957 provided a main reason for having an abortion. This table lists each reason and the percentage of respondents who chose it.

Choice is yours Still

There is no reproductive choice being taken away from any educated woman or man. No government can take my right to have or not have children. The government can take away the choice to mindlessly rid myself of a problem.  All this talk about the government taking a woman’s reproductive rights away is from uneducated people who want to remain uneducated. If you don’t want children then learn how a baby gets inside a woman’s body in the first place. A woman who willingly chooses to be ignorant of how her body works and chooses to have sex is willingly choosing to have a baby inside her. The government is not responsible for your decision to have sex at the time when the female is fertile.  Nor is the government responsible to take care of your bad choices. Yet that is exactly what is being debated. People want the government to fix their “mistake” (poor choices) and their lack of knowledge.

Who is Responsible

It is the responsibility of women and men who are in a relationship to understand exactly how the female’s body is working. That means both parties should be fully aware of the female’s cycle. This would be communicating about things most men want to be oblivious to. If you want to understand the female body and when a woman is fertile check out the article by women’s health. Therefore both parties in the relationship will be able to make an informed decision concerning sex. Thereby deciding if they are going to be creating a life while communicating their love for each other.   There is no greater way than to show you love your spouse than to bare his children.

False Freedom

I can’t help but agree with Alice Paul who deemed abortion the ‘ultimate exploitation of women’, and Susan B. Anthony who referred to abortion as ‘child murder’. Abortion is giving woman a false sense of freedom. I believe the men who want abortion want it so they can avoid the responsibility of their actions. Anyone who deals with mental health can attest  there is no freedom in have mental health issues. According to AfterAbortion and LifeNews there is research to show abortions have an affect on a woman’s mental health.

Life Ordained

Psalm 139: 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.  At just the time a woman is expecting her period. The life inside her is approximately 3-4 week old that is based on her being quick to notice her period is late. The heart begins beating at 3 weeks fertilization.   What is your standard of life?   What grants you or someone their inalienable rights? Or should I say what makes your life viable/ worth space and the air you breathe?   Alveda King said: Abortion and racism are both symptoms of a fundamental human error. The error is thinking that when someone stands in the way of our wants, we can justify getting that person out of our lives. Abortion and racism stem from the same poisonous root, selfishness.

The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between. Mother Teresa
